Come prende forma la conoscenza della montagna? Quali sono i sentimenti che muovono l’uomo verso gli alti pendii? A 150 anni dalle prime salite degli esploratori inglesi e tedeschi sulle Alpi retiche e sulle Dolomiti - prima traversata delle Dolomiti di Brenta, conquista della Cima Presanella e dell’Adamello – lo sguardo si volge ai viaggiatori antichi e moderni che da sempre salgono le montagne.
L’edizione 2014 incrocia una serie di anniversari importanti per la montagna: prima traversata delle Dolomiti di Brenta da parte dell’eclettico inglese John Ball, accademico, botanico, glaciologo che il 22 agosto del 1864 documenta la prima traversata delle Dolomiti di Brenta accompagnato dalla guida alpina di Molveno Bonifacio Nicolussi.
Sul fronte granitico della Val Genova un altro esploratore cittadino Freshfieldsalirà per primo la cima più alta del gruppo, la Presanella. A distanza di pochi giorni il tenente boemo Julius Payer conquisterà la cima dell’Adamello.
Edizione numero 12 per il Festival Alta Quota Mistero dei Monti da sempre in movimento come i mughi sulle rocce dolomitiche del Brenta. E proprio la mobilità - dentro l’apparente staticità della montagna – è l’elemento che distingue il festival d’alta quota dell’estate campigliana che attraversoincontri letterari, filosofici, scientifici, percorsi in ambiente, mostre e cinema propone la mobilità di pensiero e d’immaginazione che serve ai camminatori contemporanei.
Mai come in questa edizione la mobilità, caratterizza il Festival che ricorda la prima esplorazione della montagna da parte dei pionieri che a differenza del moderno alpinismo esploravano il paesaggio con uno scandaglio e una curiosità a 360 gradi.

In omaggio alla prima traversata delle Dolomiti di Brenta dell’inglese John Ball (primo presidente dell’Alpine Club) con la guida alpina Bonifacio Nicolussi. In collaborazione con l'Azienda per il Turismo e le guide alpine di Molveno.

PRICES:
Prices are per person per 7 nights basis half board. The half board includes your stay, breakfast and dinner.
In case of no-show or if you reduce your stay or you leave earlier, the hotel will charge you for the full booking price.
MEALS:
If you choose the half board but you do not eat at the hotel, the price will remain the same and not be reduced. Drinks are not included.
ADDITIONS:
Double room as single use: price on request.
Full board on request.
Wellness: bathrobe is rented, costs € 10,00 per person. Wellness kit costs € 19,00 and includes bathrobe, sleepers and towel.
Garage: on request car parking in garage. The parking place in garage costs euro 10,00 per day.

On request, pets are welcome. Not allowed in the restaurant. Meals are not included. A surcharge is requested for clealing and sanitizing room at the departure.
FAMILY REDUCTIONS:
Summer: Children accompained by two adults in the same room:
0-3 years: euro 22,00 per day in baby bed half board
Winter: Children accompained by two adults in the same room:
0-3 years: price starts from euro 35,00 per day.
